“Today, we are saddened by the news of another life lost too soon to the coronavirus. On this Memorial Day, as we honor the men and women who have courageously fought and died in our nation's military, let us also remember the people who have lost their lives fighting COVID-19," said County Judge Bill Gravell.  "All lives are precious. I urge you to take the steps necessary to protect more lives, particularly the most vulnerable among us, and follow health officials recommendations to wash hands often, avoid close contact with people outside your home, cover your nose and mouth with a cloth face-covering, and clean and disinfect frequently touched surfaces daily.”
