    Notice is hereby given that members of the Williamson County Commissioners Court may assemble in numbers that constitute a quorum at the above referenced public meeting. At such meeting, the Commissioners may discuss, and/or receive information regarding agenda matters referenced in this Notice of Meeting. No formal action will be taken by the Commissioners on behalf of the County regarding any agenda matter.

    At this meeting, the following items may be discussed and are subject to potential committee action:

    1. Call to order and roll call
    2. Discussion of the Biological Advisory Team (BAT) charge and discussion of previously identified possible candidates for CAC appointment of BAT representative.
    3. Take action on the appointment of a BAT representative (Landowner vote)
    4. Discussion on the distributed documents: Proposed Take and Conservation Metrics – Summary Bullet Points
    5. Public comment

    This notice of meeting was posted in the locked box located on the south side of the Williamson County Courthouse, a place readily accessible to the general public at all times, on the 21st day of March 2023 at 9:00 AM and remained posted for at least 72 continuous hours preceding the scheduled time of said meeting.

    Special Call

    The Board of Fire Commissioners of Williamson County Emergency Services District #8 will meet on Monday, March 27, 2023 at 6:00p.m. at Fire Station #6, 6700 RM 2338, Georgetown, Texas 78633.

    Williamson County Emergency Services District #8 Board Members: Bobby Bunte, Bennie Piper, Troy Rodriguez, Ira Wood and Greg Eady.

    Call to Order
    Board may, at any time, recess the Special Call Session to convene in Executive Session at the request of the Chair, Board Member, or legal counsel for any purpose authorized by the Open Meetings Act, Texas Government Code Chapter 551, and are subject to action in the Special Call Session that follows.

Code sec. 551.071 consultation with attorney), and any other matters permitted by the Texas Open Meetings Act to be discussed in closed Executive Session, including the following:
    1. Litigation or claims or potential litigation or claims against WCCHD or by WCCHD, including claims by former Executive Director Derrick Neal
    2. Status Update-Pending Cases or Claims
    3. Employee/personnel related matters
    4. Other confidential attorney-client matters, including contract and certain matters related to WCCHD defense issues in which the duty of the attorney to the governmental body within the attorney/client relationship clearly conflicts with Chapter 551 of the Texas Government Code.
    5. Consultation with attorneys regarding EEOC Charge of Discrimination 451-2021-02587: Derrick Neal v. Williamson County and Cities Health District and investigation of claims and conduct of former Executive Director Derrick Neal.
