Williamson County is undertaking the development of a Five Year Consolidated Plan (CP) for 2019-2023, as required by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, to determine its priority needs for affordable housing and community development benefiting primarily low- and moderate- income residents. Part of the Consolidated Planning process involves outreach to residents, business owners, and community leaders for input on housing, economic development, and community development needs across the County. You are invited to participate in an online survey by March 31. Your responses are important and will help to determine the priority needs for the next five years. One of the important elements of this process is engaging with key community stakeholders to learn about the affordable housing and community development needs across the County. Many of you may have received Community Development Block Grant funds in previous years to assist with critical infrastructure projects, homelessness assistance, public facility improvements, and other worthwhile projects. It's time to identify our needs and establish priorities for the next five years.
