Agreed Divorce Prove Up Hearings 
 Uncontested Divorces may be finalized by submission. Please email the  Family Court Coordinator the completed and signed final decree of divorce, along with a sworn Statement of Evidence. The Statement of Evidence should include all of the statutory elements necessary for the Judge to render a divorce.

These forms need filled out completely and signed in the PDF format.

Uncontested Docket

All Pro Se Uncontested family cases in County Court at Law No. 3 will be held each Tuesday and Friday morning at 8:45 a.m. These must be scheduled in advance by contacting our Family Court Coordinator, Amy Bissonnette.

Attorneys with uncontested matters will be heard Monday – Friday at 8:45 a.m. and will need to schedule in advance by contacting the Family Court Coordinator, Amy Bissonnette. 

There will be a limit of 5 cases set per day.

Uncontested matters to be presented to the Judge include: Divorce Decree agreed to by both parties; Default Divorce with Attorney; Employer’s Order to Withhold Child Support; and Name Change.

Any person appearing Pro Se should be prepared to follow all appropriate procedures and be available to testify without assistance from the Court. Any person not meeting these criteria will not be heard.
