Williamson County Offices Closed Due to Severe Weather on Tuesday, January 31 and Wednesday, February 1, 2023

UPDATE: County Judge Bill Gravell has issued a disaster declaration for Williamson County due to the winter storm. View the declaration.

Williamson County offices will be closed on Tuesday, January 31 and Wednesday, February 1, 2023, due to severe winter weather. The Commissioners Court meeting scheduled for Thursday, February 2, at 9 a.m. has been canceled. Williamson County Parks restrooms and water fountains will be closed, and sports fields are closed. The Williamson County Regional Animal Shelter will be closed Tuesday and Wednesday. Please keep pets inside. The Williamson County Landfill will be closed Feb. 1.

WilCo Under Winter Storm Warning Extended through 6 a.m. Thursday

A Winter Storm Warning is in effect for Williamson County from 9 a.m. Monday, Jan. 30, to 6 a.m. on Thursday, Feb. 2. The National Weather Service says significant icing is expected. Difficult travel conditions are possible. The latest road conditions for the state can be obtained at drivetexas.org. Learn how to prepare for winter weather at Winter Weather | Ready.gov. Precinct 2 Constable’s Office Closed Friday, Feb. 3

The Williamson County Precinct 2 Constable’s Office will be closed for business on Friday, Feb. 3, 2023, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. due to shift realignment. The office will reopen for business at 8 a.m. on Monday, Feb. 6, 2023.

The Williamson County Commissioners Court approved changes to the law enforcement and corrections salary charts as a result of a salary study comparing Williamson County salaries to others in the area. The increases will take effect Feb. 3, 2023.
