Construction on the project began in September 2021. The design engineer is Hardesty Hanover (formerly PPESC), and the contractor is DeNucci Constructors. A ribbon cutting is planned for June 27, 3 p.m., in the parking area under the Great Oaks Drive Bridge.
For pedestrian and bicycle safety, the Brushy Creek Regional Trail near the project area will be closed until closer to the completion of the bridge. A map of the closure area is below. We apologize for the inconvenience this may cause our trail users. View the trail closure map.
