The Williamson County Fire Marshal's Office is responsible for Fire and Explosion Investigations in the unincorporated areas of the county. The goal of our Fire and Arson Investigators is to determine the origin and cause of the incident that we are requested to investigate. It is the goal of the Investigator to determine what happened in a fire or explosion and the factors that caused the incident. The County Fire Marshal's Office is a law enforcement agency that investigates crimes dealing with arson and explosion against a person or property. The Investigators conduct interviews, collect evidence, and prepare reports to present to the District Attorney for prosecution.
