Corridor E-1

Location: north/south connector between Chandler Road and FM 1660

Overview: Williamson County is conducting a study of Corridor E-1. The purpose of the study is to identify a north/south connector between Chandler Road and FM 1660. This study will serve as an important planning step to accommodate current and anticipated future traffic levels to provide reliable transportation as the County continues to grow. By planning ahead, the County can best coordinate with property owners, businesses and the community.

The County also is studying Corridor A-1, an east/west connector between SH 130 and FM 3349. Because of the proximity of the study areas and the connection of the corridors, information and opportunities for input will continue to be shared concurrently.

Status: Preliminary studies are underway by BGE, Inc. Two open houses were held on June 27, 2017, and August 24, 2017, to share information and collect input. The County believes community input makes better projects, and opportunities for community members to get involved will continue throughout the study process.
