From CMTA Railroad to CR 201

Description

CR 200 is being reconstructed to a two-lane roadway with a center turn lane and shoulders (3 lanes of an ultimate six-lane roadway) from CMTA Railroad to CR 201. The improvements include the reconstruction of the existing roadway, performing grading and drainage improvements, placing flexible base, hot mix asphalt pavement and installing striping and pavement markers. 

Status
MA Smith Contracting is the contractor. A groundbreaking ceremony was held on Oct. 27, 2021. Construction began Nov. 15, 2021, and will be completed in fall 2022. A ribbon-cutting ceremony was held on Wednesday, Oct. 19.

Completed Projects

CR 200 from CMTA Railroad to CR 201 is Project 2 in a three-project improvement effort. Two previous construction projects have been completed along CR 200

Project 1
Improvements at SH29 and CR200/ Loop 332 were completed in summer 2019. The project spanned a distance of 0.2 miles and included adding turn lanes on SH 29, widening CR200 / Loop 332, installing a new traffic signal, and relocating and installing a new waterline.

Project 3
Improvements for CR 200 at Bold Sundown were completed in November 2018. Improvements spanned a distance of 0.2 miles and included widening CR 200 and adding a left turn lane for Bold Sundown.
