On Tuesday, Oct. 17, at approximately 4:20 a.m., deputies with the Williamson County Sheriff’s Office were dispatched to an alarm activation at the Blackland Hills Gun Works in Hutto, TX. Upon arrival, responding deputies found the front window broken. Approximately 10 – 15 shotguns and rifles were stolen.
Surveillance footage shows six individuals wearing masks and gloves forcing entering into the building.
The suspects were in a stolen vehicle. Deputies found the stolen vehicle half a mile away from the gun store on FM 3349. When deputies located the vehicle it was still running and the driver’s side door was open.
Detectives with the Williamson County Sheriff’s office are actively investigating the crime.
