All Williamson County Tax Office lobbies will be closed to the public on Wednesday, Dec. 15, due to a staffing shortage.  Office lobbies will reopen at 8 a.m. on Thursday, Dec. 16. The Williamson County Regional Animal Shelter (WCRAS) will be holding a FREE “Finding Love for the Holidays” adoption event on Saturday, December 11, for all adoptable dogs and cats. Jason Brown has been named the new general manager of the Williamson County Expo Center in Taylor. Brown has been serving for the past three years as the assistant general manager for the Expo Center, where he gained valuable knowledge and experience in the operation and management of this growing and popular venue. Brown attended Oklahoma State University and graduated with a degree in Agricultural Economics.  Before finding his way to Williamson County, he spent several years in land operations in the oil and gas industry.
