Williamson County Tax Office Lobbies Closed  Dec. 15

All Williamson County Tax Office lobbies will be closed to the public on Wednesday, Dec. 15, due to a staffing shortage.  Office lobbies will reopen at 8 a.m. on Thursday, Dec. 16. For answers to many questions regarding property taxes or motor vehicle transactions, visit the County Tax Assessor-Collector’s website at www.wilco.org/taxoffice or call 512-943-1601.

Jason Brown Named General Manager of Williamson County Expo Center

Jason Brown has been named the new general manager of the Williamson County Expo Center in Taylor. Brown has been serving for the past three years as the assistant general manager for the Expo Center, where he gained valuable knowledge and experience in the operation and management of this growing and popular venue. Brown attended Oklahoma State University and graduated with a degree in Agricultural Economics.  Before finding his way to Williamson County, he spent several years in land operations in the oil and gas industry.
