Williamson County Breaks Ground on Wyoming Springs at Smyers Lane Intersection Improvements

Williamson County Precinct 3 Commissioner Valerie Covey and Precinct 1 Commissioner Terry Cook were joined by others to break ground on improvements to the Wyoming Springs at Smyers Lane intersection in Round Rock today. Williamson County will install a dedicated left-turn lane southbound on Wyoming Springs Drive at Smyers Lane. This will provide a bay for cars to stack up prior to turning left into Walgreens, allowing southbound traffic to continue unimpeded.

TxDOT and Williamson County Celebrate Completion of Projects in Jarrell

The Texas Department of Transportation was joined by U.S. Rep. John Carter, Williamson County Judge Bill Gravell and Commissioner Valerie Covey for a joint ribbon-cutting ceremony for the I-35 at Ronald Reagan Boulevard and I-35 from Corn Hill to FM 972 projects.

Commissioners Court Meetings Available LIVE

The Williamson County Commissioners Court is pleased to be able to provide live streaming of its weekly meetings on Tuesdays at 9:30 a.m. through the county website. The Court approved providing the live feed to its residents at their meeting on Tuesday, February 5, 2019. The first meeting to offer the live feed will be Tuesday, February 12, 2019. Video recordings of the Commissioners Court meetings are available each week, so adding the live feed did not incur any additional cost. Copies of the agenda for the upcoming meeting can be found here

County Offices Move to New Georgetown Annex Building

Several county offices have moved the new Georgetown Annex, 100 Wilco Way in Georgetown. The building is a two-story building with 60,000 square feet of space. The Georgetown Annex is now home to the Precinct 3 Commissioner, Constable, and Justice of the Peace, as well as Purchasing, Human Resources, Veterans Services, and Texas A&M AgriLife Extension. In addition, the building has a Justice of the Peace Courtroom, multiple meeting and conference rooms, and a training/teaching space for AgriLife Extension.
