Do I have to have an appointment to receive the vaccine?

Yes, all citizens within the Phase 1B population (65+ and 16+ with comorbidities), must register for an appointment. Appointment information will be made available January 19, 2021. All vaccinations will be given by appointment only—No walk-up appointments.

Where will the vaccines be distributed?

Distribution sites will be located in Georgetown and Round Rock. More information will be provided on January 19, 2021.

What happens when the County runs out of vaccines?

Williamson County has a robust vaccination plan that will quickly distribute its allocated vaccine doses. Once Williamson County proves a successful vaccine distribution, it is expected that a larger vaccine shipment will come in the following weeks. The media, website, Facebook, Twitter and NextDoor app will be used to communicate the next distribution.

Who is eligible for a vaccine?

People 65 years of age and older. People 16 years of age and older with at least one chronic medical condition that puts them at increased risk for severe illness from the virus that causes COVID-19.
