Commissioner Cook Participates in 2019 Harvest Luncheon and Fall Fashion Show Benefit

Proceeds from the "Style in Action" Show benefitted Meals on Wheels of Williamson and Burnet Counties

Commissioner Cook greatly enjoyed the Style in Action Fall Fashion Show featuring women's wear from local shops held at the Sun City Ballroom in Georgetown on Thursday, Oct. 3, 2019. The Distinguished Gentlemen of Williamson County served the guests beverages and the Red Apron Ladies served lunch. Commissioner Cook encourages the public to take part in these events to make our community stronger and benefit our neighbors in need, while supporting local businesses. Several non-profits were recognized.

Joining Commissioner Cook at her table were Sun City residents (lft to rt) Karen Mulkey, Janie Clark and Barb Bigger and Precinct 1 Chief Deputy Constable Mike Pendley, the table's server and winner of highest tipped server.Another volunteer server for the Style Show was Precinct 1 Contable Vinnie Cherronne chatting with Commissioner Cook caught off guard by the photo taking. Around her are manyh women seated at various tables throughout the hall.
