The Williamson County Regional Animal Shelter will be closing early at 4 p.m. on Thursday, December 16, 2021, in order to allow the shelter staff the opportunity to attend a staff holiday party. Normal business hours of noon to 6 p.m. will resume on Friday, December 17, 2021.

All Williamson County Tax Office lobbies will be closed to the public on Wednesday, Dec. 15, due to a staffing shortage.  Office lobbies will reopen at 8 a.m. on Thursday, Dec. 16. For answers to many questions regarding property taxes or motor vehicle transactions, visit the County Tax Assessor-Collector’s website at www.wilco.org/taxoffice or call 512-943-1601.

The Williamson County Regional Animal Shelter (WCRAS) will be holding a FREE “Finding Love for the Holidays” adoption event on Saturday, December 11, for all adoptable dogs and cats.
