Williamson County Landfill to Give Priority to Residents with Tornado Debris on Saturday

Cleaning up after a natural disaster requires the support of the entire community. Saturday, March 26, there will be a large clean-up effort for those whose homes were damaged by the March 21 tornadoes. One way the community can help is to hold off taking regular yard debris and trash to the Williamson County landfill and give residents with debris from the tornado priority on Saturday.

Williamson County Judge Bill Gravell issued an order declaring a local state of disaster for Williamson County due to the severe weather event on March 21, 2022. For a copy of the disaster declaration click here. The Commissioners Court extended the disaster declaration through April 27. View the extended order here. Texas Governor Greg Abbott issued a state disaster declaration for 16 Texas counties including Williamson County. View the state disaster declaration here.
