WarnCentralTexas.org serves as a public portal for residents to register for our Regional Notification System (RNS) and learn about other ways their local communities distribute information in times of emergencies. WarnCentralTexas.org also is being developed as a regional preparedness resource so residents in the ten-county CAPCOG region can find useful information about how they can prepare themselves for emergencies and disasters.

County Offices Closed for MLK Day

All Williamson County offices will be closed on Monday, January 20, 2020, in observance of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day.   County operations will resume regular hours on Tuesday, January 21, 2020; however, the Commissioners Court meeting on January 21 has been canceled. Their next scheduled meeting is Tuesday, January 28, 2020. 

The Williamson County Regional Animal Shelter will be open normal hours noon to 6 p.m. on Monday, January 20. Bark in the Mew Year with New Year’s savings on adoptions. All adoptions are $20 on adult dogs and cats. The shelter is located at 1855 S.E. Inner Loop in Georgetown, Texas.
