The Williamson County District Attorney’s Office is inviting the community to attend the 10th annual Tree of Angels ceremony to honor victims of violent crime. The ceremony will take place Tuesday, Dec. 6, at 6 p.m. at the historic courthouse, 710 S. Main St., in Georgetown.

This moving ceremony allows the community to remember families whose lives have been forever impacted by violent crime. The evening includes the dedication and lighting of the unadorned Tree of Angels. Families, survivors of a violent crime, families with a missing loved one and friends of a victim are invited to bring an angel ornament to place on this special tree.

The audience is a broad reflection of the community, including families of homicide victims, law enforcement, state, county and local victim service agencies. The general public and news media are welcome to be a part of the evening’s event.
