Williamson County Precinct 4 Commissioner Russ Boles was joined by Thrall Mayor Troy Marx, Thrall ISD Superintendent Tommy Hooker and others for a ribbon cutting ceremony to celebrate the completion of the S. Bounds Street Improvement Project. The project included pavement reconstruction, drainage improvements and overlay of the road from Railroad Avenue to south of E. Eckhart Avenue in front of the Thrall school building, grades K-12.

“Days like today are great to be able to come in and work with the city of Thrall on the repaving of S. Bounds Street, “ said Precinct 4 Commissioner Russ Boles. “It’s an important street to the city of Thrall, it’s important for Thrall ISD, and it’s just an honor to be able to complete a project for the citizens of Thrall. I’m really excited about it.”

The design engineer was RS&H, and Chasco Constructors was the contractor. The cost was $889,988 and was funded through voter-approved 2019 Road Bonds.
