The Williamson County Tax Assessor/Collector’s offices will be instituting new hours of operation for all four locations. Effective August 15, 2022, all county tax office lobbies will be closed to the public on Wednesdays. 

In order to better serve the public in all aspects of their operation, the Tax Assessor/Collector’s office will implement the following new schedule:

Hours of Operation:
Monday:   8:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Tuesday:   8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Wednesday: Closed to the public
Thursday: 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Friday:      8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Williamson County Tax Assessor/Collector Larry Gaddes stated, "Our staff struggles to manage in-person, mailed-in and dealership transactions. The new office hours will allow our staff to better execute all transactions in a timely manner and provide consistent service levels to all Williamson County taxpayers."
