The Williamson County Regional Animal Shelter (WCRAS) is desperately seeking adopters and fosters for the almost 200 dogs in the shelter, as well as help with kitten fosters.

Due to the Memorial Day holiday on Monday, there is no Commissioners Court meeting on Tuesday, May 30. The next meeting will be on Tuesday, June 6, at 9:30 a.m. in the historic courthouse, 710 S. Main Street in Georgetown. 

The Quarry Splash Pad at Southwest Williamson County Regional Park, 3005 CR 175, is open for the summer! The Splash Pad is open Wednesday to Sunday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. It is closed Monday and Tuesday, except for Memorial Day, July 4 and Labor Day. The cost is $2/person, credit cards only.

Williamson County offices will be closed on Monday, May 29, in observance of Memorial Day. All county operations will resume regular hours on Tuesday, May 30, 2023.

Williamson County residents are invited to join the four Justice of the Peace judges in Williamson County for a community forum on Monday, June 5, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Georgetown Annex, 100 Wilco Way, Georgetown. Residents with questions are asked to email their questions to wilcojp2023@gmail.com.
