Celebrate the official start of the holiday shopping season on the day after Thanksgiving at the annual Lighting of the Square event in Georgetown on Nov. 28, starting at 5:30 p.m.

Williamson County Brown Santa has several opportunities to have yoru child's photo taken with Santa for a $5 donation to Brown Santa. Photos start on November 22 at Wolf Ranch and continue weekends through December.

Williamson County's Unified Road System and Fleet Departments will return to working five eight-hour work days per week starting November 3.
