Corridor A-1

Location: east/west connector between SH 130 and FM 3349

Overview: Williamson County is conducting a study of Corridor A-1. The purpose of the study is to identify an east/west connector between SH 130 and FM 3349. This study will serve as an important planning step to accommodate current and anticipated future traffic levels and to provide reliable transportation as the County continues to grow. By planning ahead, the County can best coordinate with property owners, businesses, and the community.

The County also is studying Corridor E-1, a north/south connector between Chandler Road and FM 1660. Because of the proximity of the study areas and the connection of the corridors, information and opportunities for input will continue to be shared concurrently.

Status: Preliminary studies are underway by Kennedy Consulting. Two open houses were held on June 6, 2017, and August 24, 2017, to share information and collect input for the study. The County believes community input makes better projects, and opportunities for community members to get involved will continue throughout the study process.
