TRANS-TEXAS CORRIDOR MEETING SCHEDULED

 

            October 15, 2004 (Williamson County, TX) – Residents of Williamson County are invited to attend a public meeting for the proposed Oklahoma-Mexico/Gulf Coast element of the Trans-Texas Corridor (TTC-35).  The meeting for Williamson County will be held on Tuesday, October 26, at the Georgetown Municipal Complex, San Gabriel Conference Room, 300 Industrial Avenue, in Georgetown. 

According to TxDot, the public meetings are opportunities to: “learn more about the TTC-35 and the environmental study; ask questions and provide input to project planners and TxDOT; review preliminary corridor alternatives; and register your comments.”  The doors will be open for elected and agency officials at 4 p.m. and to the general public from 5 to 8 p.m.  For more information, visit www.transtx.com or call 1-877-872-6789.
