WILLIAMSON COUNTY OFFICES CLOSED FOR HOLIDAY/MOVE

 

            August 31, 2004 (Georgetown, TX) -- Williamson County offices will be closed on Monday, September 6, in honor of the Labor Day Holiday. 

            The County Clerk’s Research Library located on the first floor of the Williamson County Courthouse, 710 Main Street, will close at 5 p.m. on Friday, September 3, and will re-open in their new location in the basement of the Justice Center, 405 MLK Street, on Monday, September 13.  The Research Library holds records for subdivision plat maps, probate records, vital statistics, assumed name certificates, naturalization records, school records, military discharges and all land transactions including deeds, deeds of trust, liens, federal and state tax liens, abstract of judgments and lis pendens.  They also record the UCCs that are filed in the real property records only.
