Approximately 100 volunteers are needed to help with trail repair and park beautification at Williamson County’s Champion Park during the United Way of Williamson County’s 2010 MLK Day of Service on Monday, January 18, 2010.
Volunteers lend a hand from 9 a.m. to noon helping spread gravel for trail repair and doing other park beautification projects at Champion Park, located approximately one mile east of Parmer Lane on Brushy Creek Road.
The United Way’s 2010 MLK Day of Service is looking to recruit 225 volunteers to help with eight service projects in six cities benefiting nine nonprofit agencies. The projects are indoors and outdoors. To sign up, call the Round Rock Volunteer Center at 512-733-7625, or register online at www.volrock.org.
