A partnership of local governments and other stakeholders in Williamson County are working together to amend the current 2015 Williamson County Hazard Mitigation Plan and create a new Community Flood Protection Plan. Local emergency managers want to know how prepared the community is for natural disasters. Residents, businesses, and interested citizens can provide input through two online surveys available on this website.
The surveys are a component of creating good emergency management plans. In order to identify and plan for future flooding and other natural disasters, community input is needed. These questionnaires have been designed to help gauge the level of knowledge local residents already have about flooding and other natural disasters and to identify areas vulnerable to natural disasters. The information provided will help coordinate activities to reduce the risk of injury or property damage in the future.
