      <description>The Williamson County Sheriff’s Office Victim Assistance Unit is looking for volunteers.  Volunteers will be trained to respond to emergency situations in Williamson County.  After a traumatic event, people often feel helpless, confused and emotionally shocked. These volunteers will be trained to assist citizens of Williamson County in the immediate time of crisis and help them through the first difficult hours.</description>

      <description>The week of April 10 –16, 2011, is National Crime Victims’ Rights Week. This annual observance seeks to increase public awareness, and knowledge among crime victims and survivors about the wide range of rights and services available to people who have been victimized by crime. A ceremony will be held April 13 featuring guest speaker Suzanna Hupp. A family event with music and booths will be held April 14 at the Courthouse. </description>
