The County Extension Service program operates as a partnership between Texas A & M University and the local county government. The county agents who staff the County Extension Service Office are local residents who serve as subject matter experts, educational planners, and adult and student leaders. This service provides information coming from research in the broad categories of agriculture, nutrition and home economics, community development, horticulture, natural resources, and 4-H and youth development. The County Extension Service is the largest provider of informal education for adults in Texas. The County Extension Service is located in Georgetown.

The Director of Information Technology Services is appointed by the County Judge with the advice and consent of the Commissioners Court. The director's duty is to control, direct, and maintain all information technology functions of the County. More specifically, duties include installing new systems, protecting computer stored records, maintaining control of daily computer functions, and trouble-shooting computer related issues within County offices. The department is located in the Inner Loop Annex.

The Facilities Maintenance Director is appointed by the Senior Director of Infrastructure. The Director's duties are to supervise the maintenance of all county owned facilities and grounds, including major and minor repairs, remodeling, new construction, cleaning and grounds keeping. The Facilities Maintenance Department is located at 3101 SE Inner Loop in Georgetown and can be contacted by email at facilities@wilco.org.

Additionally, Williamson County Commissioners Court provides funding to legally qualified, non-profit organizations through a contract for services when such services are:

1. Services which accomplish a public purpose and provide a measurable return or benefit to the County; and
2. Services that the County would provide absent the agreement, within the vision of the County, and pursuant to its health, safety and welfare obligations.
