JP2 Now Accepts Online Credit Card Payments

Online credit card payments are now available for the Williamson County Justice of the Peace Court Pct 2. Only full payments are accepted and once accepted the case is closed and reported as a conviction. Juvenile cases are not available, nor are certain cases involving particular offenses. (i.e. Alcohol Offenses by Minors) 

Certain offenses, such as Driving While License Invalid or No Liability Insurance will also initiate additional charges by DPS with their Driver Responsibility Program (commonly known as surcharges, or point system). Please refer to the DPS website www.txdps.state.tx.us for information on this program. 

Payments will be posted to the case within 24 business hours. Access to the site is: www.wilco.org/payJP2 or the link at the top of this page.

 Credit Card payments may be made at the JP2 office at 350 Discovery Blvd, Ste 204, Cedar Park, Texas 78613. Cash and Money Orders are also accepted, however, no personal checks will be accepted.

Image of Judge Edna Staudt - Justice of the Peace, Precinct 2Judge Staudt is originally from Austin, married with six children and nine grandchildren.  Her desire to serve the families of Williamson County led her to run for office in 1994.  She has served diligently since that time.  In addition, she has served on numerous boards, including the Williamson County Jail Bond Board, Child Fatality Review Team, Safe and Drug Free Schools Committee, Agape Pregnancy Resource Center, YMCA of Twin Lakes, Central Texas Justice of the Peace and Constable Association, and Hope Connections Pregnancy Resource Center of Leander.  She is also an active member of the Chamber of Commerce in Cedar Park, Leander, and Liberty Hill.  She attends The Journey Bible Fellowship in Cedar Park where she and her husband assist with music.

She partnered with the Greater Williamson County /YMCA  in 1997 to create the first Teen Court program in Williamson County that serves any student willing to learn the Judicial System. This leadership program has provided defendants the opportunity to keep their criminal record clear of convictions.
