Williamson County Road & Bridge is conducting several public meetings to discuss our Neighborhood Street Resurfacing Program.  Residents in specific neighborhoods to be resurfaced this Spring/Summer have been invited to one of the meetings below in order to learn more about the plan for their neighborhood.

Tuesday, April 2, 6 p.m. - Williamson County Central Maintenance Facility, 3151 S.E. Inner Loop, Georgetown

Thursday, April 4, 6 p.m. - Grace Bible Church, 302 Serenada Dr., Georgetown, TX

Monday, April 8, 6 p.m. - Champion Park Gazebo, 3830 Brushy Creek Road, Cedar Park, TX

Williamson County crews will be starting crack sealing operations in the following subdivisions during the upcoming week.  Crack sealing is intended to reduce the amount of water infiltrating into a pavement structure and reinforce the adjacent pavement.  You will be able to drive on it shortly after the material has been applied.  Please refer to the Resurfacing webpage at www.wilco.org/resurfacing or call the Road and Bridge office at 512-943-3330 for updates regarding where and when construction will be taking place.

Because of the current colder temperatures we are concluding fog seal applications on cul-de-sacs for the winter.  We expect to begin fog seal operations on cul-de-sacs again this coming spring, 2013, when the weather is more conducive to applying the material.  We will inform you of when we will be on your cul-de-sac prior to commencing any work with a notice on your door.  We also will contact homeowner’s associations, neighborhood groups and post information on our Road and Bridge website.  

Application of Hot Mix Pavement overlay for select intersections in the Brushy Creek neighborhoods is nearing completion.   Items that still need to be completed are:  County inspectors are compiling alist of items that need to be addressed by the contractor (called a punch list).  When the “punch list is transmitted to the contractor, residents can expect to see contractor and county forces at the intersections working to complete the project.
