Williamson County was awarded Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funding in the amount of $1,110,780 for FY2007 (October 2007 – September 2008). This funding is intended to be used to address needs in low and moderate income areas of Williamson County.

The final draft Action Plan was approved by the Commissioners of Williamson County on June 26, 2007.

$125,805   City of Liberty Hill/Sewer for Old Town

$250,000   City of Georgetown/Drainage and Street Improvements

$150,000   Georgetown Housing Authority/Sierra Ridge Apartments

$79,194     Williamson County Mobile Outreach Team (Social Service)

                  (Note: up to 15% of total CDBG funds can be used for social services)

$100,000   City of Taylor/Dickey Street Drainage Project (Phases III and IV)

$128,000   City of Thrall/Highway 79 Water Line 

$1,110,780      Total CDBG Funding Awarded for FY07
