Tim L. Wright, Judge of Williamson County Court at Law # 2, took office on January 2, 2003 after his election in November of 2002.
Judge Wright was born January 19, 1945 in Dallas, Texas. He graduated from South Oak Cliff High School in 1963. He graduated from North Texas State University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1968 and received his law degree from Baylor University in 1970. He was an Editor of the Baylor Law Review and also served as Magister (President) of Phi Delta Phi Honorary Legal Fraternity. He was admitted to the State Bar of Texas and licensed to practice law in September of 1970. He is also licensed to practice in the United States District Court, Western District of Texas and the United States Tax Court.
Judge Wright and his wife Lisa, a sixth grade teacher with Gateway Middle School, are the proud parents of a teenage daughter, Rebekah. Judge Wright also has two adult children who were raised and educated in Georgetown and he and Lisa also have five grandchildren. Judge Wright attends Grace Bible Church and ranks his spiritual life as his highest priority.
