Williamson County DWI/Drug Court Program is intended to handle cases involving habitual drug offenders and subsequent DWI alcohol offenders using an incentive based and judicially monitored program of drug/alcohol treatment and rehabilitation services.  The program utilizes cooperation amongst Defense attorneys, the County Attorneys Office, Treatment Services and the Adult Probation Department to help offenders focus on identifying and assisting them with their underlying issues.  This program gives offenders an opportunity to break the cycle of drug/alcohol abuse which leads to criminal behavior and instead gives them an opportunity to work with the criminal justice system in a proactive and life changing experience.
