On Tuesday March 22, 2011 Rick Coffman was sworn in by the Honorable Judge Dan Gattis Sr after being appointed to the office of Constable Precinct 2 with a unanimous vote by the Williamson County Commissioner Court.
Constable Coffman is filling an unexpired term created when Dale Vannoy resigned to pursue a career in the private sector.
Constable Rick Coffman is a 22 year honorably retired Navy Veteran. Rick’s law enforcement career began at Hill College in Hillsboro, TX where he majored in Criminal Justice and received his Texas Peace Officers License. Rick first served with the Leander Police Department where he attained the rank of Lieutenant and served as Interim Chief of Police. Constable Coffman began his service with Williamson County as a Deputy with Precinct 2 where he served 11 years and with Precinct 1 for the last year.
Constable Coffman has been a resident of Williamson County Precinct 2 for 17 years. He and his wife, Vicci, are active members of Victory Baptist Church in Cedar Park where he serves as a Trustee and Sunday School Teacher of 8 and 9 year olds.
